My experience revealed an industry need

My name is Adrian Hernandez, and I have worked for a Programed Approved Agency billing its service claims for over ten years. In that time, I have come to find that changes implemented by the State of Colorado have put most small agencies in a difficult position in terms of billing the services they provide. I've found that the task of billing is typically delegated in the following ways:


  1. An employee manually submits claims, reconciles, and adjusts claims on behalf of an agency.

  2. Executives find this work too important to delegate elsewhere and bill, reconcile, and work to resolve denied claims themselves.

  3. The agency has its Community Center Board submit claims on their behalf for a fee.


These options might get the job done, but any combination of this delegation requires valuable time from administrators or a cashflow hang-up.


First off, employment costs mean you are paying a hefty premium for work that doesn't require a typical skill set. Say your agency delegates billing to an employee. Secondly, I know firsthand that this is meticulous busy work that requires precision and attention to detail.
